Dog at a Norfolk wedding — Magpie Magpie Photography
From £200
Norfolk & Suffolk · Wedding Dog Chaperone

Your dog,
at your
wedding.

We collect them, chaperone them through the bits that matter, and return them safely — so your best mate is there for the moment, without anyone you love being on dog duty all day.

Wedding Dog Chaperone

You want them there.
You just can't manage them.

Of course you want your dog at your wedding — they're family. But on the day itself, nobody can be tied up holding a lead, nipping home to let them out, or worrying whether they've been fed. That's usually the moment couples give up on the idea entirely.

This is the answer. We handle everything — pickup, the day itself, food, water, walks, toilet breaks, and getting them home again — so your dog gets to be part of your wedding, and you get to actually enjoy it. And because there's a documentary photographer involved, your dog leaves with a little gallery of their own.

From pickup to home again

How it actually works.

A calm, simple day for your dog, and one less thing for you to think about.

01

We collect them

From your home, the venue, or wherever they're staying. No need to arrange a friend or family member to play dog-taxi on the morning of your wedding.

02

They're chaperoned

To the part of the day you want them for — the ceremony, the confetti, the group photos. Fed, watered, walked and kept calm and happy throughout.

03

They get their photos

10 professional, hand-edited photos of you with your dog — relaxed and natural, the same documentary style as the rest of the day.

04

We take them home

Once they've done their bit, they're returned safely and settled — so they're not stuck at a loud party past their bedtime, and you carry on with your night.

Two simple packages

Pick what suits your day.

Both include 10 professional, hand-edited photos of you with your dog — the bit no other chaperone service can offer.

10 photos of you
and your dog.

This is the bit other dog chaperones can't offer. Your dog isn't just minded for the day — they're properly photographed, by a documentary wedding photographer, in the same candid, no-posing style as everything else.

Ten hand-edited images of you with your best mate on your wedding day. The kind of photos that end up framed on the wall — because years from now, those are the ones that hit hardest.

Willow — Magpie Magpie dog chaperone

Willow

One half of our two-dog household — and a big part of why we know exactly how to keep a dog calm, happy and looked after on a busy day.

Bertie — Magpie Magpie dog chaperone

Bertie

The other half. Between the two of them, there's no wedding-day wrangling, weather, or wobble we haven't already handled at home.

Common questions

Wedding dog chaperone FAQ.

No. The dog chaperone service is available as an add-on to a wedding photography booking, or completely on its own — even if you've already got another photographer. Either way, your dog still gets their 10 photos.
Packages start at £200 (3 hours) and £300 (4 hours), both including 10 professional photos of you and your dog. Final price depends on collection distance, how long you need your dog there, and any extras. Get in touch with your date and venue for a clear, no-faff quote.
Norfolk and Suffolk, based on the border. For collection and return further afield, just ask — I'll always tell you exactly what any extra travel involves up front.
That's exactly what the service is for. Your dog is kept calm, walked, and given quiet breaks away from the noise. If they're only happy for the ceremony and confetti, that's fine — they do their bit and head home early.
Lots of Norfolk and Suffolk venues are dog-friendly, at least for the ceremony and outdoor photos. We can help you check, and plan the day around what your venue allows.
Just drop me a message with your date, venue and a bit about your dog. We'll sort the details and make sure they're a happy, well-looked-after part of your day.
